Meet Laurie

Laurie Peterson
RN, CANS Aesthetic Injector
I've been a Registered Nurse since 2000, and an Aesthetic Injector since 2005. I've learned a lot. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Educating my patients in their aging process is important to me. I once had horrible acne, but no one ever told me why I had to use moisturizer, so in my head, drying out my skin was the best way to get rid of my oily face. Knowing now how proper education could have saved my skin, I enjoy guiding my patients. I like to share my knowledge about the aging process, choices of products that would be beneficial, and, of course, debunking myths brought on by social media.
My approach is “less is more”. If you desire natural outcomes, your aesthetic goals should be a journey. You didn't age overnight (even though sometimes it may feel that way), but injecting for full correction in one day is not the answer. That usually leads to complications or undesired outcomes. I believe in safety and your health as my priority. At my core, I am a nurse first, and I sleep well at night, knowing that “do no harm” is how I think through my assessment process. I always want the best outcomes for my patients, but some good things must wait if your body isn't ready for it.
As far as pricing, I am always trying to find offers and honor in-house discounts on your purchases. I rarely have a certain type of filler “on sale” because I don't believe the patient should be shopping for their medicine. I spend time on research and continuing my education all over the country to keep up on the best and safest techniques in aesthetics. So I think it’s best if the expert advises you on your aesthetic “medicine”.
Alongside my assistant Brittany, we do our best to create a safe, enjoyable space to make you look and feel your best. I truly enjoy the authentic conversations I have with my patients, where they feel they can say or share anything with me. I'm blessed to come to work every day knowing that I've created a work environment that is honest, relaxed, yet cheerful.
